Hi everyone!
I do hope you all are surviving January. It has been a punchy start to the year (pun intended), in a good way. With the last week of January now upon us, I would just like to share some updates with you.

1. ST PETER'S CLASSIFIEDS
I have placed an advert in St. Peter's classifieds for the month. Thank you to you all that helped me get in contact with the correct people to make this happen. It is much appreciated. Here is hoping for an influx of more students for 2024.
2. CAMP CLASHES
As most schools are having their camps this week, apologies in advance if you will be missing lesson. We will just continue next week. Please enjoy your camping trip. These camps are crucial in bonding with your fellow school mates as well as your teachers. Please be safe and don't break any arms or legs.
3. FEBRUARY INVOICING
Please note that invoicing will be done on Tuesday, 23 January 2024 for February. Yes, January was a short month but things will now return to normal.
4. SCHEDULING
As there was no real contest with the schedule as run last year, I have decided to keep the days the same for the time being.
Mondays - Online
Tuesdays - In Person
Wednesdays - Online
Thursdays - In Person
Friday - Online
I have one or two students that have schedule clashes though which I am still trying to sort out, so I ask to kindly be open to small movements in times or perhaps dates to make all of them fit. I will be in contact with you all soon if needed regarding these minor changes.
5. TALICIA MARITI CHOSEN FOR MUSIC AT UCT

Some of you might have remembered Talicia, a former student back in the day when I gave lessons at Rivonia Primary and she was a student there. It rarely happens that students want to go and study music as a career and Talicia will be doing that. I just want to congratulate Talicia on this achievement. It is not an easy one to get accepted into and more so at UCT. Well done Talicia. I will be following your studies and career closely.
6. MATH RESULTS A HUGE SUCCESS
Some of you might have seen the math results that were achieved last year. I particularly want to congratulate Liance Nel that achieved 81% for Math Core Grade 12. She has now been accepted to study Veterinary Science with the dream of specialising in wildlife. What an amazing goal. I also want to congratulate all my other students for achieving such high marks. There is a total of 5 Distinctions for Math. This is out of 8 students I got to help with math during 2023. I am super proud of you all.
Have a great week and see you all soon for some lessons.
